Ubuntu spanish keyboard wrong layout


It has just happened to me that suddenly the keyboard lost its setup. The keyboard has in  a button the 6 and &, symbols, but with this issue the / character was printed instead. In addition, the ^ character in the right, using AltGr didn't appear. Additional keys were missing and others in other settings. To solve this state the following command is the key:

 sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration

In the options I selected the standard 104 keyboard, and included dead tilde. This is your path.
